Community Workshop - June 2, at 5:00 p.m. - 7:30: Firesafe Marin and the Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority have set up community workshops for each of the 5 zones in Marin County.
We are in the Central Marin Zone and our community-specific workshop will be on Wednesday, June 2, at 5:00 pm. You will learn how to prepare yourself for wildfire! The workshop will cover a variety of topics including wildfire science, defensible space, home hardening basics, community preparedness, and personal preparedness and evacuations. All workshops will include discussion, Q&A, and the same topics, but each will also feature a guest speaker that can answer questions specific to each geographic service area of Marin County.
These workshops will teach actionable skills that residents can use right away!
