Good news! The Greater Ross Valley Fuel Break is coming!

It will be located directly adjacent to our communities from Ring Mountain to Cascade Canyon. It will run through Corte Madera, Kentfield, Ross, San Anselmo and Fairfax.


This is a huge multijurisdictional project from the Marin Wildfire Prevention Authority to build a 38 mile continuous reduced fuel and forest health restoration zone. The project will reduce fire risk to thousands of residents while improving ecosystem health by the reduction of non-native plant cover. We will all be safer.
